Redevelopment Project of the Year

Consumer Cellular at Deer Valley

Consumer Cellular at Deer Valley was once a single-story Sam’s Club retail store. It was transformed into a state-of-the-art, two-story office building with a $9 million redevelopment and was completed in June 2018.

Everest Holdings, which acquired the space in 2014 for $7.2 million, allocated the money to redevelop the space in creative ways. They worked closely with architect Studio Ma to integrate innovative modern features, such as a state-of-the-art space for employees to congregate and socialize. It also included a dramatic stadia staircase down the spine of the building, which is not only functional but an architectural feature of interest.
