The Real Estate and Development (RED) Awards — which are considered the Academy Awards of Arizona’s commercial real estate industry — honored last year’s top brokers, architects, contractors, developers and projects Wednesday night at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort.

“I grew up in New York and long before he was president, I actually got to meet Donald Trump and I asked him the key to success in commercial real estate,” joked AZ Big Media Editor in Chief Michael Gossie. “Trump said, ‘Do you want to know how to make $100 million in commercial rate estate? … Start with $400 million.’”

With the jovial tone of the evening set, the top commercial real estate projects of 2018 were honored.

Sponsors of the RED Awards included DP ElectricDPR ConstructionArizona State UniversityChasse Building Team and Merestone.
