Hotel Indigo Scottsdale Recognized by Industry with Renovation Award

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. (December 17, 2007) – Hotel Indigo, the newest boutique hotel in downtown Scottsdale, has been recognized with a 2007 Renovation Award.

The award, presented by InterContinental Hotels Group during the Americas Investors & Leadership Conference in Dallas, is given only to those hotels that merit special recognition for having successfully competed major modernization and renovation programs during the past year. The recipients are judged to have significantly improved and updated the quality of their properties. The award also congratulates the team behind the renovation for its performance and dedication to excellence.

“We are pleased to receive this award, from our industry peers,” said C. Joseph Blackbourn, president and chief executive officer of Everest Holdings. “It demonstrates the hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence of our team.”

Hotel Indigo, located at 4415 N. Civic Center Plaza, is a joint investment of Scottsdale-based Everest Holdings LLC and Los Angeles-based Hewson Investment Group. The five-story, boutique hotel features 126 guestrooms with renewable elements such as vivid wall murals, area rugs, and plush bed duvets and slip covers. Public spaces, including the lobby, Golden Bean Restaurant and The Divine Lounge & Terrace transform seasonally through changing artwork, murals, music, flora, scent and directional signage. The renewal concept provides even the most frequent guest with a unique experience on every stay.
