Michael Gusich, Principal, Commercial Property Acquisitions
Michael Gusich leads Everest's commercial and multifamily property acquisitions efforts. His responsibilities include the sourcing and closing of value-add and opportunistic commercial real estate and related debt investments.
Mr. Gusich has 20 years of acquisitions and corporate finance experience. Throughout his career he has been involved in the completion of over $600 million of principal investments in a variety of product types and sectors, including office, flex, multifamily, retail, hospitality, entertainment venues, notes and operating companies. Prior to joining Everest, Mr. Gusich worked in the acquisitions unit at Alterra Capital Group, a multifamily investment firm in Miami. His previous experience includes corporate development and strategic planning at Clear Channel Entertainment and investment banking at Bear Stearns, both in New York.
Mr. Gusich received an MBA from The Wharton School and BS from the University of Illinois, where he also played varsity football and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, Men's Arts Council of the Phoenix Art Museum and Men's Board for the Fresh Start Women's Foundation.
