Crowne Plaza Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona
$5.75 Million, March 2004
$1.6 Million Renovation, June 2005

Everest purchased this 250-room, full-service hotel in Phoenix, Arizona in 2004 and immediately began the work of repositioning both the physical plant and the operation with an eye toward returning the hotel to its historically competitive position in northwest Phoenix. Everest completed a comprehensive renovation in 2005, effectively adding more than 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting venues to the hotel, while creating a contemporary Latin ambiance for the public spaces. In addition, fresh restaurant and bar concepts were designed and implemented.

Driftwood Hospitality Management was retained to manage the day-to-day operation of the hotel.

Hotel Indigo Scottsdale
Scottsdale, Arizona
$12.1 Million, May 2006
Approximately 5 million dollar renovation

Hotel Indigo Scottsdale's 126 rooms were completely renovated and opened February 2007. Hotel Indigo offers an upscale, fun and fashion forward boutique experience at a more relaxed price-point than other boutique hotel concepts. The hotel's focus is on experience over pure function; harmony is brought indoors from a desert with the beautiful colors of the earth and air. The hotel features an indoor/outdoor balcony and Divine Lounge. Along with the indoor/outdoor concept, there are perfect proportions that appear in the guest rooms and hallways of the hotel. The hallways of the hotel are adorned by indigenous desert imagery from four local up and coming artists. In addition to the hallway art, there are very large pieces of public art on the sides of the building. Hotel Indigo provides an inspirational retreat for the discerning traveler: a place to reflect, relax and replenish. A place of high peace.
